Sasha and Irma, your road to Tokyo 2020 as boxers is a clear priority! However, you should proudly accept and value this historic election outcome, as it shows how highly respected you are by fellow boxers worldwide. In this challenging period, they count on you to embrace this responsibility of representing the athlete community on the executive body of the International Boxing Association and contribute to the resolution of the issues within the organization.
It is great to have such a prominent representatives of men’s and women’s boxing with a vote and a voice on the EC!
Good luck to both of you in your efforts to win Olympic medals as well as in your new role!”
