The indirect comparison is an important stimulus for the women, who have the opportunity to observe and assess how it gets better. The idea, developed by EUBC President Franco Falcinelli for a few seasons, is growing and confirms that this is the model that looks to the future.
There are Championships of great technical depth, as confirmed by numbers of nations and athletes, stimulated by the opportunity that the event shall, in particular, the qualification for the Youth Olympics, scheduled in Buenos Aires in Argentina, from 1stuntil 12 October 2018. The official first edition took place always in Italy, in Aosta in 1996.
The Youth Championships have always been the backbone of pugilistic movement. In numerous editions attended all the future champions. Also this edition in Roseto degli Abruzzi is no exception, maintaining a high technical profile. The inscriptions, considering the natural physiological decrease, ensure record numbers. In Roseto, appear 46who already regular in Turkey, including the medalists Bernath (Ung), silver, and Ibrahimov (Aze), bronze, in the 49 kg, the English Price (52) and the Ukrainian Bondarchuk (60) seconds, the Croatian Biletic(+ 91),bronze. Russia proposes Light Heavyweight champion Kolesnikov and, among the reserves, figure Teterev that had dominated the Medium. But there are also many new entries, which they won tournaments and Euroepan in Junior category. The exponential growth of the male sector could create problems of abundance.
