Swedish Boxing Celebrated 100 Years10 May 2019
Recently in the month of april The Swedish Boxing Federation organised a big anniversary to be held at the famous Jazzpalace Nalen in Stockholm in order to celebrate it’s 100 year anniversary.
Under the strict guidence of President Mr Anders Holmberg it became an evening to remember.
150 guests of honour both former boxers and legendary trainers as well as Presidents were attending.
Anders Holmberg kicked of the evening from the stage together with an orchestra and did sing When The Saints as well as Hello Dolly.
President Mr Anders Holmberg was receiving the gold medal from The Swedish Pro Boxing commission and their President Mr Bjorn Rosengren for his important contributions to the sport.
20 of Swedens biggest boxers did receive prizes for their importance for Swedish boxing and 15 trainers and former Presidents were also honoured by Mr Anders Holmberg and the executive committee.
A Swedish team later fought a national against a team from England and Ireland, the bouts were held in a good spirit.
An unforgettable evenening which will live on forever in Sweden!
