AIBA appoints Supervisor for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games

The International Boxing Association (AIBA) is delighted to announce that it has appointed Dr Abdellah Bessalem (Algeria) as the AIBA Supervisor of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. Dr Bessalem will oversee all aspects of the boxing event at the Games.

“I have full confidence that you are the most suitable and capable person to perform the duties and responsibilities required of the AIBA Supervisor for the Olympic Boxing Competitions in the upcoming Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games”, stated AIBA President Dr Ching-Kuo Wu.

“Therefore, it is with great pleasure that I appoint you to this position and I appreciate in advance all the hard work and effort you will put in for the success of these Games”.
