On the eve of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the countries of Malta, Anguilla and Libya have become the newest members of the International Boxing Association, taking the total number of National Federations to 200 in the year that AIBA celebrates its 70th anniversary.
“…AIBA continues to work hard to develop boxing from the grassroots to the top of the elite competitions, and the inclusion of these great nations will both strengthen their homegrown talent and enrich our competitions,” said AIBA President Dr Ching-Kuo Wu.
