EUBC Euro Junior Boxing Champs Anapa 2013

First day of matches at the 2013 EUBC Junior European Boxing Championships, which is underway  in Anapa, Russia, from November 8th to 17th 2013. 17 Matches took place today inside the Sports Complex Vitayz. Tomorrow 36 matches (18 1st session and 18 2nd session) on schedule. 2nd Day first gong set at 12 pm Local Time

187  boxers,  have been registered by 27 countries around the Old Country. Around 300 persons – coaches, Team Leaders, Docs and teams management included – are taking part in the competition, which has its venue inside the Sports Complex Lok “Vityaz” located in Yuzhnij Prospekt, 20, Vityazevo, Anapa. The “Vityaz” is an indoor sport and play complex is situated, fitted with high-level equipment, which is necessary not just for holding events, but also for exposure of information about sports and other events in accordance with modern demands. Two sports halls with viewing stands, fitness and billiard rooms, a conference hall, a bar – all these may be provided for holding competitions, tournaments, championships, includind those of international standing, and public events: exhibitions, presentations, sports and entertainment programs.

Eligibility of Boxer and Weight Category
A. Boxers who were born between January 1, 1997 – December 31, 1998 are eligible to participate (ages 15 – 16)
B. The Championships will be staged in 13 Weight Categories:
44kg – 46kg, 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 80+kg.
