The 2014 EUBC European Confederation Junior Boxing Championships will take place in Anapa this upcoming October 31st to November 9th 2014. After many successful EUBC events the Boxing Federation of Russia will be holding a European Championship in the city of Anapa. According to the Final Entry list, 254 boxers (18 Teams Official and 39 Coaches), coming from 33 country, are going to land in Russia for the last EUBC European Competition of 2014.

Anapa, after hosting the last year Euro Junior Boxing Competition, is going to hold the 18th edition of EUBC Euro Junior Boxing Championships, known as Cadet Boxing Championships for its first 12th editions.

The first one took place in 1996 (June 16-23) in Italy. The host city was Aosta. The Italian team dominated the medal standings thanks to 3 gold and 2 silver medals.

Bitola (Macedonia) held the Euro Cadet Boxing Championships from July the 4th to the 13th 1997. Russia got the first step of the medal Standigs podium, winning 4 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.

The third edition was held in the city of Jurmala (Latvia) from August the 22nd to the 30th 1998. The Russian Boxers got again rid of all the competitors, conquering 5 gold and 4 silver medals.

The Azerbaijan Boxing Federation organised the 1999 Cadet Championships, which were held in Baku (August 21st – 29th). The Russia team was the best one in the medal standings: 5 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals.

The first championships of the third millennium took place in Athens (Greece – July 12-17). The Russian Boxing National Squad  got the first place in the medal standings thanks to 8 gold 2 silver and 1 bronze medals.

Liverpool (England) held the 2001 Euro Cadet’s Boxing Championships from July the 15th to the 25th. The Medal Standings was ruled by the Russian Athletes: 6 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals.

The Ukrainian city of Lvov hosted the 7th edition of this tournament, which began on August the 3rd and ended on August the 12th 2002. The home team (Ukraine) took possession of the medal standings: 7 Gold, 1 silver and 1 Bronze Medals.

Kaunas (Lithuania) was chosen as Host-City of the 2003 (September 2-9) edition. Russia retook the first step of the medal standings: 8 Gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.

The Boxing Federation of Russia was the organiser of the 2004 edition, which took place from September the 12th to the 19th in the city of Saratov. The Russian Boxers defeated the competitors, winning 9 gold and 2 silver medals.

The 2005 edition was organised in the city of Siofok (Hungary). The competition period was set from June the 18th to the 25th. The best team was the Russian one thanks to 7 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze Medals.

Tirana (Albania) hosted the 11th Euro Cadet’s Boxing Championships from June the 12th to the 16th. The medal Standigs was dominated again by the Russian side: 9 Gold and 2 silver medals.

After hosting the 2005 Edition, Siofok was chosen again as ringside of this championships, which took place from June the 23rd to the 30th 2007. The Ukrainian Athletes were the best ones, thanks to 5 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Plovdiv (Bulgaria) held the 13th Euro Junior Boxing Championships, which took place from June the 22nd to the 28th 2008. Russia overtook the rest of participating nations, thanks to 8 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Lvov (Ukraine) was the host city of the 2010 Euro Junior Boxing Championships, which were held from June the 21st to the 28th. This was another edition of this tournament dominated by the Russian Squad: 7 gold and 5 Bronze Medals.

The Hungarian Lake-Town of Keszthely hosted the 15th edition of this competition, which took place from June 27th to July 2nd 2011. 8 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals ensured the first place in the medal standings to the Russian Boxing Team.

In 2012 this Championships took place in the city of Sofia (Bulgaria – June 23-30) and were conquered again by the Russian Team, which got 7 gold and 3 silver medals.

The last Edition was hosted in Anapa (Russia – November 10-16). The Home team gained the first place in the medal standings thanks to 6 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals.
