EUBC European Union Women’s Boxing Championships
In Italy, specifically in Cascia (Perugia), from 4th until 13th August 2017, will be held EUBC European Union Women’s Boxing Championships.
The tournament venue is Cascia, in Umbria, a choice strongly desired by the Italian Boxing Federation, inserted between the initiatives to support areas affected by the earthquake.
The event will be officially presented on 5th August 2017 with a press conference which will take place at 12.30 am at the press room of La Reggia Hotel, in Cascia (Pg).
The matches will be held at Palazzetto Margherita Gym in Rocca Porena (Cascia – Italy).
Event Period – 04 – 13, August 2017
Competition Period – 05 – 12, August 2017
Preliminaries start on 05 August and end on 09 August.
Rest day is on 10 August.
Semifinals are on 11 August.
Finals are on 12 August.
All competitions begin at 4.30 pm.
Nations and Athletes
At EUBC European Union Women’s Boxing Championships participant more than 90 athletes from 18 countries: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, Wales, Holland, Montenegro.
Social Campaing FPI for Cascia 2017
During EUBC European Union Women’s Boxing Championships press conference will be also presented the social project “#provaciconme for Cascia”, campaign against violence against women #provaciconme in support of the areas affected by the earthquake promoted by FPI with Salvamamme Onlus and Boxeur Des Rues, in collaboration with Magrelli Hotels and Restaurants.
To 20 young mothers in difficulty of this territory will be given a bag with basic commodities in line with the project “rescue Suitcase” by Salvamamme.
