EUBC President Mr. Franco Falcinelli approved the European Shadowboxing Challenge to start from May 11 until the end of the month

The President of the European Boxing Confederation Mr. Franco Falcinelli officially approved to launch the European Shadowboxing Challenge. The starting date of the new European project is May 11 and the competition’s deadline during the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic is May 31. All of the currently active boxers and veteran participants will have three weeks to post their shadow boxing techniques from May 11 through their social media pages at Instagram and at Facebook during these period.

The recommendations of the European Shadowboxing Challenge arrived from the President of the Netherlands Boxing Federation Mr. Boris Van der Vorst a few days ago who is the Chairman of the Passion for Boxing Commission of the European Boxing Confederation. The Shadowboxing Challenge will be a new kind of activity for the youth talents, elite boxers, veterans and our former athletes.

All of the solo competitors can make 15-30-seconds of videos in which they can combine all kind of their attacking and defensive techniques and punches during this European Shadowboxing Challenge. These videos shall be uploaded to the Instagram and Facebook pages of the participants who must be add their videos with several hashtags and mark their countries: #EUBC #AIBA #NF #ShadowBoxingChallenge #ShadowBoxing #PunchChallenge #EUBCevent #EUBCchallenge.

The European Boxing Confederation and a professional jury will be decided the champions in three different categories after May 31: elite, youth and veteran shadow boxers. The new project of the European Boxing Confederation is to inspire the whole boxing family and their families to be active during the Covid-19 pandemic.
