Ferreira, Apetz, Fontijn, Bennama, Kunkabayev and Tiafack could be the stars of the Cologne Boxing World Cup this week
09 March 2021The Cologne Boxing World Cup will be the highlight of this week’s competitions which is Germany’s top international event. AIBA President Mr. Umar Kremlev will be visiting the Cologne Boxing World Cup where Beatriz Ferreira, Nadine Apetz, Nouchka Fontijn, Billal Bennama, Kamshybek Kunkabayev and Nelvie Tiafack could be the stars of the event.
The German event was previously known as Chemistry Cup and Halle hosted in the recent decades since 1970 as one of the strongest European elite international tournaments. It was moved to Cologne at the very first time in 2019 when France’s AIBA World Champion Sofiane Oumiha was one of the main stars.
Germany’s new sensation Kevin Boakye-Schumann and France’s Tokyo Olympian Samuel Kistohurry amazed in the 2020 edition of the Cologne Boxing World Cup in December 2020. Altogether 72 boxers including 21 women attended in the last edition of the Cologne Boxing World Cup in Germany three months ago.
The safety of all participants, the continuous medical checks, the social distancing, the hygienic preparations, wearing masks and all of the health controls are the responsibility of the local organizers in Germany to avoid any new Covid-19 cases during the Cologne Boxing World Cup.
