Great Britain and Russia are the most successful nations with their seven medals after the quarter-finals in the European Games
29 June 2019Six competition days are done in the European Games in Minsk, Belarus where the quarter-finals delivered exciting and highest level of boxing. The best 20 women and 40 men boxers are remained in actions in the semi-finals at the boxing tournament of the European Games in the Belarusian capital.
Out of the record number of attending 44 nations, finally 20 countries achieved at least one medal in the European Games. Great Britain and Russia on the lead with seven boxers in the semi-finals but Ireland’s six and Italy’s five guaranteed medallists are also impressive performance. Armenia have got four boxers in the last four which is one of their best ever results in the history of the EUBC European Elite Boxing Championships. Ukraine, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Germany and Poland also worked well in the previous six competition days in Minsk.

- Finland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey: 1 boxer
