Mr. Krasimir Ininski re-elected as President of the Bulgarian Boxing Federation

The Presidential elections of the Bulgarian Boxing Federation were held in Sofia where Mr. Krasimir Ininski has been re-elected for the next cycle. He is also the Vice-President of the Bulgarian National Olympic Committee and will be able to serve Bulgaria’s boxing life in the upcoming years.

The management of the Bulgarian Boxing Federation is a well-experienced professional staff which was selected by Mr. Krasimir Ininski. The Bulgarian Boxing Federation has been hosting three-four big international events every year since 2013. Mr. Krasimir Ininski’s staff is one of the most experienced in the whole European continent and their boxing life feels its outstanding benefits.

The Strandja Memorial Tournament became the strongest international boxing events for the elite boxers with the participation of 30-40 nations. The Balkan Women’s Tournament and the Emil Jechev Memorial Tournament launched few years ago and there is huge interest worldwide to attend these competitions.

Bulgaria hosted the AIBA Women’s Youth & Junior World Boxing Championships in 2013 and since then the country welcomed boxers in big events every year. Following that competition in Albena, Sofia hosted the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships in 2014 which was the qualification event for the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games.

Bulgaria welcomed the participants of the EUBC European Elite Boxing Championships in Samokov in 2015. Since then the Bulgarians hosted EUBC European Youth Boxing Championships, EUBC European Schoolgirls & Schoolboys Boxing Championships and other international competitions.

The Bulgarian Boxing Federation hosted the last edition of the EUBC Junior European Boxing Championships in November 2020 which was held during the second wave of the Coronavirus with impressive successes. The Russians dominated the event and won the medal table ahead of Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria.

The President of the Bulgarian Boxing Federation is planning to continue the developments focusing to their strong next generations.
