Newsletter EUBC by President Franco Falcinelli – April 2017
05 May 2017Dear Boxing Friends,
First of all, I would like to congratulate Dr. Ching-Kuo WU, AIBA President, once again, for the excellent publication of the “AIBA FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAM“.
This valuable document represents the synthesis of a concrete and consistent transformation of Olympic boxing as well as the promotion of ethical, technical and organizational principles that will characterize our sport well beyond the 2017-2020 Olympic Cycle.
It is a document that aims to stimulate ethical and social/cultural goals such as: the sense of membership, sharing, solidarity and responsibility within the entire boxing movement led by the AIBA.
President WU wanted to reaffirm an inherent respect for the Code of Ethics, Education and Training on all levels: boxers, coaches, Referees&Judges, ITOs, Supervisors, all the leaders of National Federations and Confederations, and the Members of the National and International Commissions.
Boxing in the 3rd Millennium will thus provide young people, educators and millions of fans with good educational and recreational values and therefore the opportunity to practice a healthy, clean and spectacular sport.
I would also like to congratulate President WU for the outstanding act of securing AliSport as a long term global marketing partner. I am sure that this extraordinary agreement will lend a bright future to boxing growth worldwide.
Congratulations President WU !!
April was an important month characterized by the development and application of new projects plus many sports events.
