Dear Boxing Friends,

European Boxing activity continues with great success.

In November, Kosovo, Russia, Macedonia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Finland, Serbia and Poland have organized tournaments at the highest level. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the National Federations that have organized international boxing events and contributed to the development of European Boxing.

The AIBA Women’s Youth World Boxing Championships, organized in India, has just concluded and I would like to highlight the important results reached by the European boxers, showing their high boxing values and competitive level.

12 boxers of the following European Countries reached the podium: Ireland, Russia, England, Italy, Germany, Poland the Ukraine.

EUBC FRANCO FALCINELLI: COMMENTS OF 2017 EUBC JOINT COMMISSIONS MEETING

Dear boxing Friends,

On behalf of AIBA and EUBC Family, I would like to welcome all of you in Assisi for this joint meeting of the EUBC Commissions.

First of all I would like to thank the Mayor of Assisi, eng. Stefania Proietti and the President of Regional NOC Gen Domenico Ignozza for their grateful presence.

Dear Chairmen and Commissions Members, as you well aware AIBA is crossing a very dire period of his history.

Now we are going to the EXCO to review the current management and to prepare the transition to the Ordinary Congress on Nov 2018 to elect the new leadership.

However, Boxing in Europe has advanced in many ways recently and this development continues to positively influence boxing all around the world. This EUBC Commissions Meeting is another opportunity to further this development and make a positive influence on boxing not only in Europe, but worldwide.

It is paramount that we place the integrity of the sport first and foremost while instilling a united front for the progression of our sport

Your presence testify your strong commitment and deep interest for the better management and future of our sport.

The Commissions’ work is also very important for the good governance of EUBC and NFs’ activities. Your large experience and competence can analyze, valuate and suggest, to the EC of our Continental Boxing Confederation, important modification or update some specific and current issues.

Your determinations will be submitted to the EUBC EC and in the mean time addressed to AIBA.

2017 EUBC Joint Commissions Meeting

On December 12th and 13th, Assisi will host the EUBC Joint Commissions Meeting, annual event that gather all EUBC Commissions. The Commissions will meet to discuss important issues for the development of European boxing of the next Olympic cycle.
