Newsletter EUBC by President Franco Falcinelli – March 2017
06 April 2017Dear Boxing Friends,
March was a month characterized by projects to develop and implement many sport events.
DEVELOPMENT OF EUROPEAN BOXING APPEARANCE
Among the projects of EUBC, there is the desire to enhance communication through modern social networks, drastically reducing costs.
For this reason, I wish that the National Federations take into serious consideration the use of social networks (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Flick) and YouTube, allowing to improve the dissemination of the image of European boxing.

AIBA and EUBC are constantly working to improve the knowledge and experience of each member, trying to ensure the best possible support in the various fields of competence.
More training means more guarantees of success, credibility and good image of our sport: it’s the Heads’Up campaign promoted by President WU.

ERDEI ZSOLT, NEW PRESIDENT OF HUNGARIAN BOXING ASSOCIATION
I would like to congratulate with Erdei Zsolt, a great Boxing Champion and now the new President of Hungarian Boxing Association.
Erdei Zsolt represent an excellent image for all of us and on behalf of EUBC, I would like to ensure our sincere cooperation for every initiative in favor of the Hungarian boxing development.
CIAO SANDOR!
On behalf of the EUBC, I would like to express to Mr. Sandor Csotonyi my sincere thanks for his immense work carried out for many years in favor of the Hungarian, European and world Boxing development. We will never forget his activity of promotion, organization and management of Olympic Boxing in his Country, that produced concrete results in technical terms and on the boxing image.
He was a good national level boxer in the 57 kg category, but had to finish his career prematurely due to a hand injury.
He worked as a Coach for 30 years, as a national Head Coach, along with the legendary László Papp.
He was the President of the Hungarian Boxing Association from 1996 to 2017, the longest serving Hungarian sports president.
Moreover, he served AIBA in two different periods as member of the Executive Committee.
Last Saturday he was elected Honorary President of the Hungarian Boxing Association.
Dear Sandor, we will miss your strong encouragement words pronounced toward Hungarian boxers from the stands of all the Competition Venues worldwide and your generous cooperation for the preparation of countless International Tournaments and Championships in your Country. I am confident to still count on you as Member of the EUBC Executive Committee and Chairman of the EUBC Coaches Commission!
