The first competition day of the Men’s 2014 European Union Amateur Boxing Championships, which tok place today inside the Sport Hall of Sofia, the Bulgarian Capital City, from the upcoming August 8th to 16th. 9 Matches were on schedule for the preliminaries Stage of the following categories: 56 Kg and 69 Kg. 12 matches (Cat 64 and 81 Kg) scheduled for the second day of the competition (first gong at 3 pm Local Time).

131 boxers and 38 coaches, representing 23 European Union Countries, have already landed in Bulgaria to take part in the competition.

Following the list of the participating countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Moldavia, Macedonia, Poland, Slovakia, Scotland, Spain, Turkey.
