In order to promote the event, EUBC PressOffice have an interesting chat with Bulgarian Boxing federation Presidente Mr. Ininski.
- The EU Boxing Championships will be the Third International Championships organized in Bulgaria since September 2013. This is an evident sign of the strength and vigor of Bulgarian Boxing. What does it mean for Bulgarian Boxing Federation to be often chosen for the organization of the most important international Boxing Events?
Bulgarian Boxing Federation has been working hard to build a positive image as boxing events organizer. To be chosen for third time since September 2013 as a host of major international boxing championships is a proof for the trust in our knowledge, strength and abilities. As an organization we hope to duplicate the successes of the past events we had hosted this year and magnify them, as we look into the future. Our team’s motivation and experience increase with each event and I believe, as President of Bulgarian Boxing Federation, that this is the main reason for our success.
- Sofia is going to host the VII edition of this tournament. Several of the best European boxers will come in Bulgaria to fight for the medals. It should be an outstanding competition, do you agree?
As the development of the boxing grows each year and after each tournament, the boxers themselves have more opportunities to sharpen their abilities. This tournament will have the chance to welcome distinguished boxers competing in amazing sessions. I am sure that the pressure under all competitors shall reach its highest level and the finals will reveal the top European Union boxers.
- The Bulgarian team is working hard to be ready for the contest. What do you expect from your boxers?
Bulgarian Boxing Federation puts a lot of efforts in to the team preparation. In the moment we have an intensive training camp in one of the best sport centers in Bulgaria. I aim to involve Bulgarian Boxers in more championships and yet since 2013 we have increase our achievements in European and World championships.
- Could you kindly send a greeting to all participating Boxers?
For all competitors themselves, I would like to wish them success in the coming days. It is my personal hope that each and every one of the competitors performs to the upmost of their ability and achieves the standings they deserve. Although only a few will reach the top, I would urge everyone to push themselves and to overcome their limits. Compete, learn, and, whether you win or lose – grow; make use of this incredible opportunity to improve yourselves, in order to be better prepared for the trials in the future.
