The Tammer Tournament took place in the months of October and November in the previous decades but the organizers moved the event this time to January. It means the Tammer Tournament will be opening the year of 2022 in the European continent and will be the first big competition.

The new 41st Tammer Tournament will welcome top female and male elite boxers and could be the highlight of January. The venue of the traditional competition is the Pyynikki Sports Hall as in the previous years. The competition will be held in two female and eleven male weight categories in Tampere. The host of the tournament is the local boxing association and one of our experienced Technical Delegates, Ms. Anna Laukkanen is the organizer.

The Tammer Tournament launched in 1977 and several top champions from all over the globe attended in the prestigious event.
