The course for “Schoolboys Boxing Training” and “Boxing Wellness in Gyms” ended in Assisi with the Graduation Ceremony
28 September 2015The course for “Schoolboys Boxing Training” and “Boxing Wellness in Gyms” ended in Assisi with the graduation ceremony, in which the EUBC Presidente, Franco Falcinelli, handed the Diploma to all the Participants. The ceremomy was attended also by the Italian Boxing Federation Presidente, Mr. Alberto Brasca, and the Hungarian Boxing Federation President. Mr. Cstonyi.
The goal of the course was two-fold by expanding and developing boxing across all countries on our continent, giving a new non-discriminatory access for boxing to be practiced in schools and in fitness gyms.
The spirit that guides this new initiative is gradually change in the way boxing is perceived, starting from teachers and physical educators and then moving on to public opinion, social and political institutions. The steady progression of boxing’s educative role in schools would then in turn benefit Clubs in the local areas. The Club’s role is critical in supporting school and amateur activity on a grassroots level.
This course was taught by instructors from countries that have expertise on this subject from Britain, France, Germany, Hungary and Russia, who share their high level of knowledge both practical and scientific. The course was attended by Coaches coming from following countries: Greece, Romania, England, Germany, Croatia, Norway, Finland, Slovakia, Belarus, Spain, Albania, Ukraine, Russia and France.
