The EUBC Junior European Boxing Championships Sofia 2020 will be the highlight of the upcoming days
24 November 2020The European Boxing Confederation hosted its first continental event for the youth boxers in the recent days in Budva with all safety measures. The next competition is quickly coming soon, the EUBC Junior European Boxing Championships will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria until the 3rd of December.
The EUBC Junior European Confederation Boxing Championships was planning to host in in Tbilisi, Georgia on July but due to the Covid-19 pandemic the event has been postponed. The re-scheduled competition moved to Bulgaria’ capital where all of the requirements, experiences and professional organizational team are waiting for the participants.
Boxers who were born in 2004 and in 2005 are eligible to attend in the EUBC Junior European Confederation Boxing Championships in Sofia. Altogether 19 nations are planning to take part in the continental event including several of the future stars and finally 26 champions will be crowned.
The European Boxing Confederation’s medical and safety rules are very strict in the whole competition as it was followed in Montenegro. The safety of all participants, the continuous medical checks, the social distancing, the hygienic preparations, wearing masks and all of the health controls are the responsibility of the local organizers in Bulgaria to avoid any new Covid-19 cases during the EUBC Junior European Confederation Boxing Championships.
