The first edition of the Brasov Junior & Youth Cup will be held in February 22-28

The first edition of the Brasov Junior & Youth Cup will be held in the city of Brasov, Romania on February 22-28 in 2022. The venue of the new international competition will be the Polivalenta Hall in Brasov where boxers from the 2004-2005 age groups can attend in the youth age group, while the younger talents who were born in 2006 and in 2007, can compete in the junior competition.

The competition will be held for both genders in the South part of Transylvania in a city of Brasov which has also strong German and Hungarian traditions. The new IBA Scoring System will be used during the Brasov Junior & Youth Cup which was introduced in December 2021.

One of the experienced European Technical Delegates, Mr. Viorel Sima returned to Romania and he is responsible for their international communication and to host events in the country. The Brasov Junior & Youth Cup will open the line of international events in 2022 which will follow the Golden Belt Tournament in April and the Gheorghieni Belt Junior & Schoolboys & Schoolgirls Tournament in May.

The safety of all participants, the continuous medical checks, the social distancing, the hygienic preparations, wearing masks and all of the health controls are the responsibility of the local organizers in Romania avoid any new Covid-19 cases during the first edition of the 2022 Brasov Junior & Youth Cup.
