VII EUBC EU WOMEN ELITE-YOUTH-JUNIOR BOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS: Final Results06 July 2013
Here are the 32 Queens of the VII EUBC EU WOMEN ELITE-YOUTH-JUNIOR BOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS (12 Junior, 10 Youth, 10 Elite. The Final Day Bouts took place today in the Tennis Hall-Helikon Sport& Conference Hotel set in the placid Lake Balaton Town of Kszethely. The spectators, who crowded the stands around the ringside made up by two Rings, enjoyed a very good boxing time ’cause all the boxers did their best during the bouts.
The President of Hungarian Boxing Association was very happy for the whole competition and proud of the Hungarian Team Results: “It was a fantastic Tournament – He stated – both from organization point of view and the techinical one. Olympic gold medals, World Championships and European Championships took part in the competition. I’m also very pruod for the Hungarian Team Results, our Boxers got an outstanding score of Medals.”
Finnish Bxer Sonia Gronroos and The “Azzurra” Valeria Calabrese (ITA) competed for the 48 Kg Gold Medal. The Italian Boxer goti t, winning the match
The 51 Kg queen is the Olympic Gold Medal Nicola Adams, who beat by Unanimous Decision Bulgarian Stoyka Petrova.
The 54 Kg Elite Champion is Lisa Whiteside, from England, who won the match against Alicia Sramkova, from Czech Republic,
Marzia Davide (ITA) and Ornella Wahner (GER) fought for the first place in the 57 Kg. Davide won by Split Decsion and got the Gold
the 60 Kg Throne was a business only for the Irish Olympic Champion 2012 Katie Taylor and Estelle Mossely from France. Taylor won (by Spit Decision) the Title for the 5 times in row and was appointed as Best Competition Boxer.
The Home Boxer Nagy Bianka did her best in the 64 Kg Fnale and got the gold winning by Unanimous decision Martina Schmoranzova fron Czech Republic.
Marija Stjanovic, representing Serbia, was in competition with Erika Guerrier for the 69 Kg Gold Medal. The french boxer conquered the Title winning by Split Decision
The 75 Kg final was a match between Netherlands and England. The dutch boxer N. Mirielle Fountin and the english one Savannah Marshall got into the ring for the first place in this weight category. Savannah Marshal was the winner of the Gold Medal (Unanimous Decision)
Sarah Scheurich, from Germany, and Maria Kovacs, from Hungary, faced each other for the glory in the 81 Kg final Bout. Maria Kovacs didi t and brought home the gold medal (Unanimous Decision)
Leanne Murphy (IRL) and Emine Bozduman (TUR) competed for get the gold in the +81 Kg final. The Turkish Athlete won the match and got the Crown of this category
