Over the weekend of June 6th and 7th, Azerbaijan Baku Fires and Cuba Domadores will contest a two-legged World Series of Boxing (WSB) Season IV Finals, with the victorious team becoming the Champion of the WSB Season IV.

As part of the celebrations and festivities that will take place on Finals weekend in Baku, WSB are delighted to present our Finals logo which represents the culmination of Season IV.

Amongst the admirers of the logo include the International Boxing Association (AIBA) President and WSB Board Chairman Dr Ching-Kuo Wu, who shared his thoughts on its significant meanings.

“The logo perfectly encapsulates the unique Team concept of the WSB Tournament, and the wide reach and joy it brings to the world.

“There are five fighters displayed, all clearly supporting each other, each a symbolic figure of the need to work together to achieve success.

“The trophy, as well as the fighters is adorned in a golden hue, reflective of the tirelessly hard work needed to achieve such an accolade. WSB as a concept is unrivalled in terms of the entertainment, skill and honour displayed during each contest, with the subtle hints of sunrays in the logo a reflection of the warmth and brilliance that the winning teams feel not just for themselves, but for entire nations,” explained the WSB Board Chairman.

Both Azerbaijan Baku Fires and Cuba Domadores have had fantastic seasons so far, with Azerbaijan finally getting through to their first final after years of trying, while Cuba have managed to accomplish the feat in their debut season.
