The Mexico Guerreros roared back to form in the World Series of Boxing (WSB) with an outstanding 4-1 home victory over China Dragons.

This result was Mexico’s first win in three matches, while the Dragons slide to their fifth defeat of the season.

A superb crowd in Aguascalientes was treated to an excellent first match at Flyweight (52 kg), where home star Orlando Huitzil Ahuatl took the undefeated record of China’s Hu Jianguan on points.

Mexican Lindolfo Delgado then earned his second Lightweight (60 kg) of the season after an engaging fight with 0-2 Wang Lei.

Welterweight (69 kg) Marvin Cabrera had a terrible start to the campaign for the Guerreros bylosing his opening two matches, but returned to winning ways by comfortably outpointing Liu Wei to secure the overall victory for his Franchise.

Another Mexican win took place at Light heavyweight (81 kg) as Rogelio Romero dominated China’s 0-2 Shi Guojun.

The Chinese team managed to avoid a whitewash defeat at Super heavyweight (91+ kg) when Wang Zhibao surprisingly enjoyed a comfortable points decision win over 1-1 Edgar Ramirez.

Mexico Guerreros travel to London next week and face British Lionhearts, while China Dragons visit Algeria Desert Hawks.
