Miami, Florida was the venue for yet another World Series of Boxing (WSB) victory for USA Knockouts, who defeated Rafako Hussars Poland 4-1 to continue their stunning start to Season V.

This result means the American Franchise have won five of their six matches so far this season, while the Polish team slip to their fifth loss of the campaign.

The boxing began at Flyweight (52 kg) where American’s Brent Venegas III went 2-1 in WSB, securing a win by just one round on all three scorecards against 0-2Hamza Touba.

Lightweight (60 kg) US 2014 Junior and Youth Open Champion Carlos Balderas is a red hot prospect in this competition, and secured his second win of the season with a dominant performance over Poland’s Dawid Michelus

2014 Commonwealth Games bronze medalist Welterweight (69 kg) Steven Donnelly then pulled back a win for the Polish team by widely outpointing American Brian Ceballo.

The overall victory was assured for the Knockouts at Light heavyweight (81 kg) when Steven Nelsonenjoyed his first success in three WSB matches with a comfortable win against Mateusz Jerzy Tryc.

Knockout Super heavyweight (91+ kg) Cam F. Awesome finished the night off for USA in exciting fashion when he stopped Poland’s Roger Hryniuk in round three of their match.

Next week, USA Knockouts are away to neighbours Puerto Rico Hurricanes, while Rafako Hussars Poland travel to face Caciques Venezuela.
