An excellent 5-0 victory over Argentina Condors in Miami has reignited the Group B qualification chances of USA Knockouts who maintain their undefeated home record in the competition.
Argentina Condors have still yet to taste victory in Season V across eight matches, and it’s hard to see where their first victory will come from.
3-1 Brent Venegas III secured the opening win for USA at Flyweight (52 kg) with a comfortable points victory over Argentina’s 1-2 Cristian Alan Choque Chambi.
The American advance continued at Lightweight (60 kg) when Lightweight (60 kg) Carlos Balderas earned his third consecutive WSB success against 0-3 Brian Ivan Nunez.
2-2 Welterweight (69 kg) Brian Ceballo enjoyed a surprisingly easy night when defeating Argentina’s talented fifth ranked Alberto Ignacio Palmetta on points.
Steven Nelson continued the dominance for USA when the Light heavyweight (81 kg) dispatched of Marcos Escudero.
An evening of American success finished with the widest win of all at Super heavyweight (91+ kg) as 2-1 Cam F. Awesome won every round against Leonardo Taborda.
USA Knockouts travel to Italia Thunder next week, while Argentina Condors visit Puerto Rico Hurricanes.
