#WSBV Day 9 VEN vs Bak

World Series of Boxing (WSB) Season IV runners up Azerbaijan Baku Fires secured their fourth successive victory in Season V by beating Caciques Venezuela 5-0 in Guba.

Azeri debutant Javid Dadashov enjoyed a winning start to his WSB career with a TKO-I win over Venezuelan Light flyweight (49 kg) Angelino Rafael Cordova Martinez.

Magomed Gurbanov, the number two ranked Bantamweight (56 kg) in WSB secured his fourth win of the campaign with a dominating performance against South American debutant Victor Julio García Rodríguez.

Fourth ranked Light welterweight (64 kg) and home favourite Gaybatulla Gadzhialiyev took his season record to 4-1 by defeating Luis Arcón, and securing the match for Azerbaijan.

Georgian Middleweight (75 kg) Jaba Khositashvili then won his first match for the Baku Fires with a unanimous decision verdict over Venezuela’s Nalek Rachid Korbaj Barrerra.

Powerful Azeri Heavyweight (91 kg) Abdulkadir Abdullayev went 4-0 in Season V as he knocked out 0-2 Ugandan Willy Kyakonye in round one of their fight.

Azerbaijan Baku Fires face a tough match next week away to the undefeated Astana Arlans Kazakhstan, while Caciques Venezuela host USA Knockouts.
