Group B in the World Series of Boxing (WSB) is fiercely competitive this season, and fourth placed Italia Thunder host second ranked USA Knockouts this week.
The Italian team have lost their last two matches, while the American Franchise have won three of their last four WSB fixtures.
These two teams met in week two of the competition, where USA Knockouts defeated Italia Thunder 3-2 in Miami.
Pala Maggetti, Roseto Degli Abruzzi is the venue for this Group B clash, where on Saturday 14th March fans across the world can watch the action free, live and on demand from 21:00 (GMT +1) at AIBABoxingTV.com.
Number one ranked Light flyweight (49 kg) Patrick Barnes opens proceedings as he fights American debutant Merik Elliston.
A mouthwatering Bantamweight (56 kg) clash follows between Ireland’s third ranked 2-2 Italian representative Michael Conlon, and the number one WSB Bantamweight Francisco Martinezwho aims for his fifth successive victory.
3-1 Italian Vincenzo Mangiacapre is ranked number three at Light welterweight (64 kg) this season, but faces a tough contest against Tra-Kwon Pettis who won his only WSB match to date in week three.
Middleweight (75 kg) Salvatore Cavallaro then meets USA’s fifth ranked Anthony Campbell in what should be a very entertaining contest.
The evening finishes at Heavyweight (91 kg) where Italy’s 0-1 Fabio Turchi returns to action for the first time since week one against American Josh Temple who has lost his last two matches.
