#WSBV Day7 – Baku Fires vs Argentina Condors Preview
27 February 2015
Argentina Condors are still without a victory heading into the seventh week of Season V, and face a tough home contest against Season IV runners-up Azerbaijan Baku Fires.
The Azeri Franchise have had a mixed Season V in the World Series of Boxing (WSB), but won their last match and are the favourites to win here.
Potrero De Los Funes, San Luis, is the venue for this Group B clash, where on Saturday 28th February fans across the world can watch the action free, live and on demand from 23:15 (GMT -3) at AIBABoxingTV.com.
1-1 Argentine Light flyweight (49 kg) Junior Zarate picked up a good win in the first week of competition against USA’s Nico Hernandez, and faces 0-2 Magomed Ibiyev who lost to Hernandez two weeks ago in America.
0-1 Ignacio Perrin competes for the Condors next at Bantamweight (56 kg), but has a difficult proposition when 2-0 fifth ranked Magomed Gurbanov enters the ring.
Leandro Amitrano then makes his first appearance of the season for Argentina at Light welterweight (64 kg) against 2-1 WSB veteran Gaybatulla Gadzhialiyev who surprisingly lost in America last time out.
Another Argentine debutant appears at Middleweight (75 kg) when Sergio Alberto Lebensztajnfights 1-1 Mikalai Vesialou.
The Condors then produce their fourth Heavyweight (91 kg) boxer in as many fights, as Diego Blanchelooks for victory against fifth ranked 2-0 Azeri Abdulkadir Abdullayev.
