EUBC European Union Women’s Boxing Championships arrived at the end stage

The eighth edition of EUBC European Union Women’s Boxing Championships, hosted in Umbria (Italy), specifically in Cascia, arrived at the end stage. The tournament looks excellent technical level: teams have chosen the quality. This is confirmed by the number of countries that have conquered the podium: 15 out of 19 members.

This is an important edition, after a interruption of four years, strongly supported by the President of EUBC, Franco Falcinelli.

EUBC European Union Women’s Boxing Championships was born in 2006 in Porto Torres in Sardinia (Italy), followed by six other editions (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013 arranged in Keszthely – Hungary). Cascia, location chosen by the Italian Boxing Federation to hold these edition, was very relished to all teams.

There is a satisfaction from everyone even to the Palazzetto Gym in Roccaporena (hamlet of Cascia), a beautiful and ancient village hosting this Championship.

After preliminaries, four categories have already designated the finalists: kg 54 Walsh (Irl) vs Nimani (Ger); kg 64 Donniacuo (Ita) vs Rasmussen (Dan); kg 81 Michelekaki (Gre) vs Guneri (Tur); kg +81 Sennur (Tur) vs Kusiak (Pol).
