Euro Women’s Boxing Champs Bucharest 2014
The 2016 will be a very important Year for the Boxing world. Next August, in the Barra da Tijuca neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro, 286 boxers will take to the ring with Olympic glory on their minds as the Rio 2016 Olympic Boxing competition gets underway. Today, the first 60 boxers heading to Rio have been confirmed for the men’s competition, including 34 Olympic debutants.
The 2016 will be also an outstanding year for the European Boxing. The EUBC is glad to publish the Competition and Tournament Calendar 2016. Main events will be: 1) The European Women’s Team Cup (TBA); The Euroepan Youth Boxing Championships (May 15th-24th Daugavpilvs Latvia); European Junior Boxing Championships (June 15th – 24th Keszthely Hungary); Euroepan SchoolBoy Boxing Championships (July 15th – 24th Zagreb Croatia); EUropean Women’s Junior Youth Boxing Championships (September 15th – 24th Turkey); European Women’s Boxing Championships (TBC – TBA)
