A night of excellent boxing in Almaty was full of home glory, as Astana Arlans Kazakhstan destroyed Argentina Condors 5-0.

This result establishes the dominance of Astana Arlans in the competition, as they have a 100% record in Season V, while the Argentine Franchise have yet to taste victory so far in this campaign.

The Kazakh crusade began at Flyweight (52 kg) when Azamat Issakulov won his opening match of the season by winning every round against Argentina’s Ricardo Maximiliano Ibarra.

WSB veteran Lightweight (60 kg) Roman Chshegrinov continued the success for Astana Arlans with another wide victory over 0-2 Brian Ivan Nunez.

2013 AIBA World Championships gold medalist Daniyar Yeleussinov confirmed the  Kazakhstan victory at Welterweight (69 kg) with a sparkling points win against Luis Alberto Veron.

Hrvoje Sep then won his third match of the season at Light heavyweight (81 kg) as he controlled South America’s Josue Oliva throughout their contest.

Super heavyweight (91+ kg) sensation Filip Hrgovic showcased his power in the last fight of the evening, earning his second stoppage win in a row with TKO finish in round two against Carlos Ortega.

Astana Arlans Kazakhstan aim for their seventh successive win next week at home to the in-form Italia Thunder, while Argentina Condors continue their lonely mission to win as they host Season IV runners-up Azerbaijan Baku Fires.
