After finally winning their first Season V match in the World Series of Boxing (WSB) last week, Algeria Desert Hawks host Russian Boxing Team to kick-off the second phase of the Regular Season.

Russia come into this fixture having won their last 20 individual matches, but all of those have come at home, and they lost 5-0 in Cuba during their last away match.

This is the first meeting between the two Franchises this season, after their opening match was postponed due to bad weather in Russia.

Chalane Hocine, Blida is the venue for this Group A clash, where on Saturday 7th March fans across the world can watch the action free, live and on demand from 19:00 (GMT +1) at AIBABoxingTV.com.

The first bout of the evening is a Flyweight (52 kg) clash between 0-1 Mohamed Lamine Khentache and Russia’s Vyacheslav Tashkarakovwho has not fought since losing his opening WSB match by TKO-I against Hu Jianguan.

2-1 Reda Benbaziz has been one of Algeria’s best boxers so far this season, but has a tough task looking for a third consecutive win when he faces 3-0 number one ranked Lightweight (60 kg) Adlan Abdurashidov.

Welterweight (69 kg) Younes Nemouchi then makes his WSB debut for Algeria against Russia’s top ranked 3-0 Radzhab Butaev in what should be a very entertaining bout.

1-2 Algerian Light heavyweight (81 kg) Nabil Kassel won his first match of the campaign two weeks ago away in Morocco, and will take that confidence into his clash with 2-0 Pavel Silyagin.

A ferocious Super heavyweight (91+ kg) clash will close affairs in Blida, when 0-2 Hamza Beguernicontinues his search for a first WSB win against powerful 1-0 Russian Gasan Gimbatov.
