12th NATIONS CUP STARTED IN SOMBOR, SERBIA
08 February 2023One of the strongest international women’s tournaments is currently taking place in the city of Sombor, Serbia. This is the 12th edition of the tournament, the first was held in 2012. Traditionally organised in January, in the elite, youth, junior, and schoolgirls age group, the Nations Cup every year attracts the best women’s boxers not only from Europe but worldwide. Through the years a high number of Olympic, World and Continental champions and medalists participated at this competition.
This time 108 boxers from 13 countries will compete. The participating countries are Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Croatia, England, Germany, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia .
The competition dates will be January 17th – 22nd. The Technical Delegate is Mr. Viorel Sima from Romania.
